Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Harley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percy Perfection (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harley comes to the cage accompanied by Phantom Of The Opera by Iron Maiden. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Harley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Percy Perfection!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harley lands a big uppercut and Perfection crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Perfection looks OK. Harley waves Perfection back to his feet!


Perfection is rocked!


It looks like Percy Perfection has been cut.
Harley looks to land a combination but Perfection avoids it well.
Perfection is still on wobbly legs! Can Harley finish him?

Perfection shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Harley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Perfection seems to have recovered his senses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Perfection postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Perfection is looking to work some ground and pound but Harley has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Harley wants to clinch up but Perfection keeps it at a distance.
Perfection moves out of range of the strikes.
Harley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Perfection.

Perfection closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Harley to the mat! Harley manages to get full guard.
Perfection working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Perfection trying to control the position from guard on top but Harley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Perfection thows a big elbow that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Harley controls Perfection momentarily but Perfection frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Perfection looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Harley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Perfection stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Perfection shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Poor strikes thrown by Perfection there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Harley avoids a strike by Perfection and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Perfection's guard! Fantastic escape!
Harley wants to stand but Perfection has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harley is stalling in the full guard.
Perfection is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Perfection can do anything to dispel that myth.
Perfection looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Harley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Perfection is adopting a defensive guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Perfection wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Harley is now in half guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Percy Perfection just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Harley tries to clinch there but Perfection circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Harley dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Percy Perfection's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Perfection shoots in and bounces Harley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Perfection not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Perfection throwing strikes but missing.
Perfection throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Harley works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Perfection drops back, looking for a kneebar! Harley looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Harley looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Harley!
Harley tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Perfection's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Harley in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Perfection is looking to regain half guard here but Harley keeps moving and retains side control.
Perfection wants to control but Harley postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Perfection tries to bench press Harley off him but Harley keeps the position.
Perfection is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Harley slows the pace down.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Perfection on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Perfection tries for a takedown but Harley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Harley wants to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Harley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Perfection shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Harley defends it nicely.
Perfection dodges the punch combination from Harley.
Harley tries to clinch up.
Perfection shoots in and drives through. Harley sprawls well.
Jack Harley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Percy Perfection.
Perfection looks up at the clock. Bad move! Harley lands a right hand from hell, dropping Perfection. Harley pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Harley!
