The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers connects with a single shot there.

Rogers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McCaffrey to the mat! McCaffrey manages to get full guard.
McCaffrey is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rogers wants to stand but McCaffrey has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Rogers trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Rogers got a little sloppy there for a moment and McCaffrey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rogers has managed to get both his arms back between McCaffrey's legs - danger averted.
Rogers wants to stand and escape but instead McCaffrey has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
McCaffrey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rogers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rogers tries to bum rush McCaffrey with a series of wild strikes but McCaffrey uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rogers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
McCaffrey takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

McCaffrey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rogers shoots in and drives through. McCaffrey sprawls well.

Nice takedown defense from Rogers. No joy for McCaffrey on that attempt.
Rogers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McCaffrey but McCaffrey pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Rogers stalks McCaffrey and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McCaffrey's face. McCaffrey staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like George McCaffrey has been cut.

McCaffrey is rocked!

Rogers throws a right and a left that both miss.
McCaffrey slips a jab and a cross from Rogers.
Rogers tries to score a power double leg takedown but McCaffrey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rogers somewhat.

Richard Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rogers lands a left and a right that send McCaffrey crashing to the mat, dazed. Rogers thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
McCaffrey is still on wobbly legs! Can Rogers finish him?
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Rogers knocks McCaffrey out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
