Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anna Margret (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Rendler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Anna Margret has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Anna Margret seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Margret throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rendler looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Margret lands a left and a right that send Rendler crashing to the mat, dazed. Margret thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Rendler is rocked!

It looks like Jack Rendler has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Margret displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rendler throws out the jab.
Rendler is still on wobbly legs! Can Margret finish him?
Margret just misses with a punch to the body.
Rendler seems to have recovered his senses.
Margret tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rendler throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Margret feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rendler sprawling to the canvas! Rendler rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Margret finish him?!
Rendler slips a jab and a cross from Margret.

Margret has closed the distance and engaged Rendler in a clinch.
Margret is looking to break free of the clinch but Rendler has double underhooks.
Margret tries to circle away but Rendler has him pinned against the cage.
Margret prevents the takedown attempt.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Margret wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Rendler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Margret walks away with a smile on his face. Rendler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rendler is trying hard to land a takedown here. Margret sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Anna Margret has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Rendler.
Rendler dodges the punch combination from Margret.
Margret misses with the combination.
Margret connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Margret fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rendler, pushing him back against the cage.
Margret is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Margret breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Margret fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Margret lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Margret scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Rendler slips a jab and a cross from Margret.
Rendler avoids the head kick by Margret.
Margret lands a hook that stumbles Rendler back into the cage. Margret follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Rendler to the canvas! Margret pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Rendler has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
