Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dec Nsoni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Carson!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carson closes the distance and clinches.

Carson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Nsoni is trying to improve his position.

Carson decides to stand back up.
Nsoni keeps the fight on the outside.

Carson feints and as Nsoni raises his hands in defense, Carson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Carson thows a big elbow that misses.
Carson won't allow Nsoni to get back to his feet.
Nsoni is trying to keep Carson in close.
Carson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nsoni trying to control the position.

Carson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nsoni throws a head kick that misses.
Carson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Carson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Carson delivers a nice body kick.
Carson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Carson tries to clinch but Nsoni moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nsoni.

Carson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Carson looks gassed!

Carson stands up.
Carson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nsoni.
Carson throws a sloppy head kick
and Nsoni counters with a head kick.
Shane Carson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nsoni throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Carson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Nsoni wants to control but Carson is having none of it.

Carson goes for an armbar but Nsoni turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Nsoni.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nsoni wants to stand but Carson is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Carson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Nsoni off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Carson looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Carson connects with a couple of short punches.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Carson advances to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shane Carson dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Carson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nsoni's waist but Nsoni gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Carson off to one side.
Carson fails to land the takedown.
Carson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Carson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dec Nsoni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Carson.
Nsoni works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Nsoni circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Carson drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Nsoni follows Carson to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dec Nsoni!
