Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dejan Plecas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Linus Ulander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dejan Plecas looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plecas connects with the punch.

Ulander's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ulander swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Plecas.
Plecas dives in and grabs Ulander's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ulander pushes down on Plecas's head and hops out.
Plecas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Ulander gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ulander drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Plecas gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ulander is trying to drag Plecas to the mat but Plecas just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Plecas tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Ulander jumps guard and drags Plecas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ulander manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Plecas manages to get himself to full guard.
Ulander tries to free his leg and advance position but Plecas is retaining full guard.

Ulander decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Plecas is fighting to break Ulander's control of his arms but Ulander is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Ulander shoots in looking for a takedown. Plecas tries to sprawl out of it but Ulander keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Plecas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ulander shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Plecas sprawls well. Plecas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ulander gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Plecas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Plecas wants it to stay on the feet.

Plecas fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ulander is out of range.
