Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dog Beta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dog Beta has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beta will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Beta feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Silva wants to stand but Beta is controlling the position.
Beta loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Beta passes Silva's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Beta is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Beta shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Beta shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Beta shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Beta keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Beta throws a head kick that misses.

Beta throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Beta wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Dog Beta comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Beta has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
