The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko scores with a shot to the body.
Emelianenko digs a good body shot into Hurt's ribs.
A slow jab from Hurt misses its intended target.
Hurt throws a series of punches but Emelianenko moves out of range.
Hurt looks gassed!
Hurt dodges the punch combination from Emelianenko.
Emelianenko lunges at Hurt with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hurt's hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Herb Hurt has been cut.

Emelianenko is trying to control. Hurt wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hurt seems to have recovered his senses.

Hurt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hurt takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Emelianenko postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Hurt bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Emelianenko and the fight is over!
