Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Glen Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Del Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thompson clinches with his opponent.

Thompson throws out a loose jab but Clark uses good head movement to avoid it.

Thompson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Clark regains guard immediately.
Thompson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clark. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Clark escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thompson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Clark wants to sweep but no luck.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Thompson closes the distance and pushes Clark back into the cage.
Thompson unloads a knee to the mid-section. Clark lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Thompson has Clark pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Thompson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Clark tumbling to the mat - Thompson dives into Clark's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Clark wants to sweep here but Thompson controlling him for the moment.
Thompson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Clark can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Thompson controls the pace.
Thompson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

It looks like Glen Clark has been cut.

Clark takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Oh Clark is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Thompson closes the distance looking for a takedown. Clark stuffs it but Thompson still has hold of him. Thompson picks Clark up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Thompson slams Clark to the floor and that's really hurt Clark - he doesn't know where he is! Thompson throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
