Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oderus Masatoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Oderus Masatoshi!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hall changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Masatoshi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hall has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Hall defending well as Masatoshi loads up on a big left hand.

Hall pushes Masatoshi up against the cage in a clinch.
Masatoshi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hall walks away with a smile on his face. Masatoshi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Masatoshi slips a jab and a cross from Hall.
Hall takes one to the side of the head.
Masatoshi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hall.

Masatoshi tries to keep at a distance but Hall has taken the fight into the clinch.
Masatoshi jumps guard but Hall stands there with Masatoshi around his waist. Masatoshi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hank Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oderus Masatoshi.
Hall stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hall.
Masatoshi tries to pull guard but Hall holds him up against the cage and eventually Masatoshi drops back down to his feet.

Masatoshi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hall just stands there and leans against the cage.

Masatoshi fails to pull the fight into his guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hall lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Masatoshi.

Hall lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Hall tries to stand but can't do so whilst Masatoshi controls his leg.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hall decides to stand and escape the position.
Masatoshi misses with a combination
and Hall counters with a right hand to the body.
Masatoshi looks gassed!
Masatoshi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Masatoshi ducks right into an uppercut from Hall.
Masatoshi throws a right hand that Hall ducks under and follows up with a left that Hall also avoids with ease.
Hall fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hall lands a nice looking body shot.

Hall pushes Masatoshi up against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Masatoshi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Masatoshi is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Hall moves into the clinch successfully.

Hall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hall connects with a body shot.

Hall cracks Masatoshi with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hall has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Masatoshi to stand back up!


Masatoshi is rocked!


It looks like Oderus Masatoshi has been cut.
Hall with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Masatoshi is still on wobbly legs! Can Hall finish him?

Hall moves into the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hall working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Hall is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hall.

Hall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Masatoshi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Masatoshi seems to have recovered his senses.
Hall punishes Masatoshi's body with a nice straight punch.
Hall rushes Masatoshi with punches - Masatoshi moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Masatoshi goes down! Hall follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hank Hall!
Hank Hall retains his light heavyweight title!
