Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Paiva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Dolce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dolce's choice of entrance music: Til I Collapse- Eminem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paiva scores with a shot to the body.
Dolce looks gassed!
Paiva works Dolce's body with a nice hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Paiva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dolce.

Dolce ducks straight into an uppercut from Paiva and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Dolce manages to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Urijah Dolce has been cut.

Dolce closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dolce lands in his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dolce sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Paiva's guard.
Paiva is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Dolce is trying to work for a kimura but Paiva is defending well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dolce swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Paiva is now in Dolce's guard. A big mistake from Dolce there, giving up the dominant position!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Paiva gets to his feet - Dolce follows without any prompting.

Dolce throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Paiva was covering up waiting for the punch and Dolce finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dolce wants to work for an arm triangle but Paiva is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Dolce takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Paiva jabs Dolce right on the nose. Dolce blinks but takes it well.
Dolce shoots in for a takedown but Paiva shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Paiva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dolce stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Paiva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dolce has time to react.

Dolce has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Paiva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Paiva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dolce swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dolce has his foot on Paiva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Paiva works his way back into a safe position though.
