A telegraphed takedown attempt from Francis is defended easily by Newman.
Newman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Newman connects with a single shot there.
Newman connects with a right hand. Francis shakes it off.

It looks like Steve Francis has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Newman scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Newman connects with a nice cross there... Francis is looking wobbly and Newman recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Francis to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Newman jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
