Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conan BARBARIAN (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and blanka charlie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
BARBARIAN dives in and grabs charlie's left leg, looking for a takedown. charlie pushes down on BARBARIAN's head and hops out.

BARBARIAN bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

BARBARIAN decides to take the fight back to the feet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from charlie lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and BARBARIAN has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from BARBARIAN and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Conan BARBARIAN seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
charlie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but BARBARIAN moves away.

BARBARIAN shoots in for a takedown but charlie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

BARBARIAN is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
BARBARIAN is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for charlie!

charlie wants the takedown. BARBARIAN is fighting it off but charlie persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in BARBARIAN's guard against the cage.
