Watanabe comes to the cage accompanied by "One Thing Leads to Another" by The Fixx. Gerra has chosen Queen - Another One Bites The Dust as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Junichi Watanabe has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe scores with a sloppy right hand. Gerra should have avoided that one.
Gerra displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Watanabe throws out the jab.
Gerra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Watanabe is fending him off so far but Gerra persists. Nope, Watanabe circles away and we're back to standing.
