Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Dingo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tompa Hero!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hero shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dingo as he avoids it easily.
Dingo lands a body shot.
Dingo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hero throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dingo's waist but Dingo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hero off to one side.
Hero will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Matt Dingo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tompa Hero.
Nice cross by Dingo.
Dingo thuds a left hand into Hero's body.
Dingo moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hero checks the leg kick.
Dingo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hero.
Dingo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dingo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dingo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dingo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hero's head.
Dingo lands with a hook. Hero tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hero misses with a kick to the body.
Dingo has Hero up against the cage in a clinch.
Dingo lands a left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dingo taking a breather.
Dingo manages to break the clinch.
Hero shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dingo sprawls well. Dingo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hero gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Dingo as Hero shoots in.
Hero looks gassed!
Dingo dips to his left and cracks Hero with an uppercut!
Matt Dingo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hero walks into a stiff left hand from Dingo.
Dingo misses with a body kick.
Dingo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Dingo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hero's head.
Matt Dingo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dingo lands a nice hook to Hero's body. Hero takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dingo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Dingo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Dingo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Dingo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Hero is rocked!
It looks like Tompa Hero has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hero is still on wobbly legs! Can Dingo finish him?
Dingo is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Hero hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
