Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Barca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Staton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barca comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC: Hell's Bells. Jeremy Staton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barca fails to land with a series of punches.
Barca misses the shot to the body.
Staton avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Barca misses with a body shot.
Staton just misses with a punch to the body.
Barca throws a right hand that Staton ducks under and follows up with a left that Staton also avoids with ease.
Staton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Staton lands with a right hand.
Staton scores with a punch to the head.
Staton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barca was well out of range. Poor timing from Staton.

Barca fails to land with a series of punches.
Staton comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Staton dodges the punch combination from Barca.
The crowd cheers as Staton lands an impressive looking overhand right. Barca doesn't seem phased though.

Staton is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Barca rather than just go for the knockout.

Staton manages to break the clinch.
Staton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barca moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Staton throws a predictable looking body shot
and Barca counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Barca misses with a double jab
and Staton counters with a nice uppercut.

Barca is rocked!
Staton lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Barca is looking to close the distance but Staton sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Barca crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Barca is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
