Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between jim crow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Traktor Chain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). crow comes into the arena with Audioslave- Cohise blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
crow drives through with a takedown into guard.
crow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chain swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
crow trying to control but Chain is working from the bottom.
crow trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
crow won't allow Chain to get back to his feet.
crow seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Chain feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Chain is pressed up against the cage. crow has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chain down to the mat. Chain avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Chain shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. crow manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

so crow counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Chain is looking to stand up but crow isn't so interested in that idea.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chain looks to land a combination but crow avoids it well.

crow stalks Chain and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chain's face. Chain staggers backwards, shaken.

crow is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Chain knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chain can do anything to dispel that myth.
