The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - The Hardcore Hitter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dos Santos swats away the attempt to clinch by The Hardcore Hitter.
The Hardcore Hitter moves in looking to clinch but Dos Santos pushes him off.
Randy The Hardcore Hitter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Hardcore Hitter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dos Santos misses with a low kick.
Dos Santos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has The Hardcore Hitter pinned against the cage. The Hardcore Hitter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The Hardcore Hitter tries to clinch up but Dos Santos circles away and keeps his distance.
A head kick lands from Dos Santos that sends The Hardcore Hitter to the canvas. The Hardcore Hitter tries to scramble back to his feet but Dos Santos brings him back down into side control.
It looks like Randy The Hardcore Hitter has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The Hardcore Hitter is trying to improve his position.
Dos Santos is working to tighten is grip on The Hardcore Hitter's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. The Hardcore Hitter has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Dos Santos is really squeezing tight and eventually The Hardcore Hitter passes out! Dos Santos breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
