Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bala Bala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bala comes to the cage accompanied by Tough at the top. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bala shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Salazar's guard.

Bala working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Salazar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Salazar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bala is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Salazar tries to roll over but Bala keeps him under control.

Bala is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Salazar is just riding it out for now. Bala eventually gives up the hold.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Salazar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bala has his foot on Salazar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Salazar works his way back into a safe position though.

Bala is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Salazar rolls with it to try and escape but Bala cranks on the arm and Salazar is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
