Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Todd Grosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and rocky punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). rocky punch told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Todd Grosh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, rocky punch!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grosh gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
punch looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
punch won't allow Grosh to get back to his feet.
punch stands up and waves to Grosh to follow him.
punch tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grosh swivels and escapes.

Grosh stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from punch.

punch has closed the distance and engaged Grosh in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

punch shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Grosh's guard.

punch stalks Grosh and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Grosh's face. Grosh staggers backwards, shaken.

Well punch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
