Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Smit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Liddell might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Go Ninja- Vanilla Ice. Smit comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Can't be Touched kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A head kick misses from Smit.
Liddell looks to land a combination but Smit avoids it well.
A jab from Liddell misses.
Liddell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Paul Smit has been cut.
Smit lands a nice leg kick that just misses Liddell's sensitive parts.
Nice body punch from Liddell.
Liddell looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Liddell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smit scores with a leg kick.
Lyoto Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smit will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Liddell tries a head kick but it misses.
Smit looks to land a right hand but Liddell moved out of range.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circling - Liddell throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Liddell lands the left hand.
Smit is rocked!
Liddell lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Smit falls backwards - clearly groggy! Liddell dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
