Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matt Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvador Orozco Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by Dance Monkey -Sage Francis. Orozco Hernandez has chosen Aint No Sunshine as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Salvador Orozco Hernandez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orozco Hernandez misses with a double jab.
Orozco Hernandez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Orozco Hernandez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Orozco Hernandez is looking to clinch but Hunter is avoiding it.
Hunter keeps the fight on the outside.

Hunter has taken the fight to the clinch.

Hunter breaks the clinch.
Orozco Hernandez closes the distance but Hunter moves to the side
and Hunter counters with a three punch combo that has Orozco Hernandez backing up. Orozco Hernandez nods at Hunter to acknowledge the strikes.
Salvador Orozco Hernandez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Orozco Hernandez darts in trying to clinch

and Hunter moves into the clinch.
Hunter with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Orozco Hernandez scores with a nice hook to the head.
Orozco Hernandez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hunter smiles and moves away.
Hunter circles away from the clinch attempt
and Hunter counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hunter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Orozco Hernandez wants to clinch

and Hunter holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Orozco Hernandez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hunter walks away with a smile on his face. Orozco Hernandez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hunter tries to clinch but Orozco Hernandez is having none of it.
Hunter scores with a head kick.
Hunter throws a quick inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Orozco Hernandez clinches but Hunter breaks the clinch
and Hunter counters with a nice body kick.
Orozco Hernandez looks gassed!

Hunter darts in and clinches Orozco Hernandez up against the cage.
Orozco Hernandez changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hunter fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Matt Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Salvador Orozco Hernandez.

Orozco Hernandez tries to keep at a distance but Hunter has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hunter breaks the clinch.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Hunter has cracked Orozco Hernandez with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Hunter lands another huge swinging hook and Orozco Hernandez tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Orozco Hernandez, before Hunter can land any more shots!
