Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Zubersoft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zubersoft fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smith, pushing him back against the ropes.
Zubersoft trying to control the position but instead, Smith has worked for underhooks and has pushed Zubersoft into the ropes.
Smith tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Zubersoft just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Smith tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Smith can't get the takedown.
David Zubersoft has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Smith.
Smith gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Zubersoft.
Smith is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Smith wants the takedown. Zubersoft is fighting it off but Smith persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Zubersoft's guard against the ropes.

Smith has gone for a leg lock! Zubersoft slips out almost immediately though and dives into Smith's guard.

Smith looking for a guillotine here but Zubersoft defends easily.
Zubersoft might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Smith keeping moving, preventing Zubersoft from controlling successfully.
Zubersoft stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Zubersoft trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Zubersoft advances position into side control!
Smith manages to get back to half guard.
Zubersoft tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Smith.
Smith moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Zubersoft trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Zubersoft throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Smith works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Zubersoft is looking to stand up but Smith won't let him.

Smith looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Zubersoft is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Smith isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Zubersoft stacks Smith on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Zubersoft!

Zubersoft wants to stand but Smith has his arm trapped.
Smith gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Zubersoft throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Zubersoft prevents Smith from getting the reversal.
Zubersoft takes Smith's back.

Smith is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Smith has hold of Zubersoft's leg, trying to break free but it's let Zubersoft lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Smith is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Zubersoft throws him to one side and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with his fans.
