The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Exley sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Exley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Austin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Exley avoids it really well and circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Exley. No joy for Austin on that attempt.

Austin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Exley swivels and escapes.

Austin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Exley tries to avoid it but Austin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Exley to the ground. Exley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Exley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Austin did well to prevent Exley getting side control.

Exley is trying to control the action in half guard but Austin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
