Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Triton Rex Vergara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bad Romance - Lady GaGa kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Triton Rex Vergara has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie dives in and grabs Vergara's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vergara pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.

Gracie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gracie wants to clinch up but Vergara keeps it at a distance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Gracie misses with a takedown attempt - Vergara sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Vergara is looking to wear down Gracie with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vergara sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
Vergara throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Carlos Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gracie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Vergara moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Vergara rushes Gracie with punches - Gracie moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Gracie goes down! Vergara follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
