The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim gets the takedown into side control.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kim connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kindbom some visible discomfort.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kindbom tries to buck Kim off but Kim is having none of it.

Kim is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kindbom is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kim lands a nice forearm strike.
Kim has hold of Kindbom's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kindbom tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kim cranks the arm and Kindbom screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kindbom, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
