The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanchez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kyznetsov's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sanchez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kyznetsov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sanchez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sanchez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sanchez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kyznetsov - the referee stops the clock and Sanchez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kyznetsov. Sanchez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sanchez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sanchez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kyznetsov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sanchez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kyznetsov's head.
Sanchez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kyznetsov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sanchez thows a huge punch but Kyznetsov dodges it nicely.
Sanchez tries to stand and escape but Kyznetsov actually recovers to full guard.
Kyznetsov seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Sanchez is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Kyznetsov locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Sanchez is forced to tap!
