Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Evgeny Drakul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cael Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cael Liddell has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Evgeny Drakul's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drakul tries to clinch but Liddell is having none of it.
Cael Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drakul slips a jab and a cross from Liddell.
Liddell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Liddell lands a two punch combo.

The fighters circle momentarily. Drakul darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Liddell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Drakul shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Liddell pinned against the cage. Liddell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Liddell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Drakul manages to avoid it.

Liddell lands with a straight right. Drakul didn't see that one coming.

Drakul shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Liddell napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Drakul tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Drakul looking to take Liddell's back but Liddell rolls and after a scramble, Liddell ends up on top in guard. Nice escape there from Liddell to escape a tricky position.

Drakul fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Liddell sprawls well initially but Drakul persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Liddell is in trouble now - Drakul has advanced to mount!

Drakul is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Liddell is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Liddell flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Drakul anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Liddell and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Drakul slips an arm under Liddell chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Drakul has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Drakul is squeezing on Liddell like an anaconda would it's prey. Liddell fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
