The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wu throws out a loose jab but Mantiega uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wu scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Mantiega misses with a wild body shot.
Wu throws a series of punches but Mantiega moves out of range.
Mantiega avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mantiega.

Edwina Wu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Good standup being displayed there by Mantiega as he connects with a hook.

Mantiega closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Mantiega is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Wu is trying to escape and Mantiega transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Wu is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mantiega! Very nice indeed!
