The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos walks forward, straight into a front kick from Naaktgeboren.
Dos Santos throws a nice looking combination but Naaktgeboren bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Naaktgeboren misses with a low kick.
Naaktgeboren moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Dos Santos takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bas Naaktgeboren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dos Santos looks gassed!
Naaktgeboren uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dos Santos.
Naaktgeboren throws a quick inside leg kick.
Naaktgeboren tries to close the distance and clinch but Dos Santos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dos Santos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Naaktgeboren shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dos Santos napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Naaktgeboren wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dos Santos, who protects the arm well.

Naaktgeboren has an Americana. Dos Santos didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Naaktgeboren is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Naaktgeboren hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
