Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Scheuzuan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johny Scheuzuan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scheuzuan shoots in looking for a takedown. Dee tries to sprawl out of it but Scheuzuan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Scheuzuan seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Dee's chin but Dee turns very nicely into Scheuzuan's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Dee.
Scheuzuan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dee manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Scheuzuan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Scheuzuan sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
