Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between TJ Keane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshiro Hayashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenshiro Hayashi has the eye of the tiger tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenshiro Hayashi!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keane takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kenshiro Hayashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hayashi throws a head kick that misses.
Hayashi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hayashi pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Keane looks for a takedown but Hayashi sprawls well.

and Keane decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hayashi's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Keane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The fighters circle momentarily. Hayashi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Keane throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hayashi was covering up waiting for the punch and Keane finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Hayashi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Keane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Keane throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hayashi's waist but Hayashi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Keane off to one side.

Keane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hayashi tries to avoid it but Keane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hayashi to the ground. Hayashi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Keane shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hayashi is trying to defend but Keane finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
