Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ru is looking to clinch but Mcgee is avoiding it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mcgee.

Mcgee feints and as Ru raises his hands in defense, Mcgee changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mcgee stands up over Ru, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mcgee trying to move into half guard but instead Ru has managed to sweep!
Ru wants to get up but he can't break Mcgee's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ru pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mcgee is keeping the position for now.
Mcgee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mcgee has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Mcgee throws his legs up looking for a submission but Ru uses it to pass to side control.
Mcgee wants to control but Ru postures up.
Mcgee is looking to regain half guard here but Ru keeps moving and retains side control.
Mcgee throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
You can see the frustration on Mcgee's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ru tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Mcgee is looking to reverse the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Mcgee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

I looks like Mcgee might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mcgee is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Ru is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

and Mcgee counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ru!
Ru tries to reverse the position but Mcgee maintains control.

Mcgee breaks from Ru's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Mcgee takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Ru tries to lock up and control but Mcgee gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcgee just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Mcgee is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Ru has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Mcgee is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Mcgee has got his arm under Ru's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Ru has spun round into Mcgee's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

Ru has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mcgee to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ru is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mcgee pulls down on the head and he's put Ru to sleep! This one is all over!
