The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
aldo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hyun.
Hyun wants to clinch.

aldo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hyun's guard.
Hyun wants to stand and escape but aldo is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

aldo has gone for a leg lock! Hyun slips out almost immediately though and dives into aldo's guard.

aldo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Hyun wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of aldo's closed guard. He's half up but aldo has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! aldo pivots and extends the arm, Hyun falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by aldo! Well done that man!
