Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Genghis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes into the arena with Ready 4 War blaring out of the sound system. Silva has chosen Blood Brothers - Papa Roach as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Khan.
It looks like Matt Silva has been cut.
Khan scores with a one two! Silva had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Khan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Khan.
Khan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Khan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Khan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Silva is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Khan has an Americana. Silva didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Khan is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Khan hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
