Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solid Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mack comes to the cage accompanied by Navras. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dave Mack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Solid Snake!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Mack misses the target.
Mack fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mack throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mack shoots in for a takedown but Snake shows good takedown defense.
No luck for Snake with that takedown attempt.
Snake buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mack misses with a body shot.

Mack gets a clinch.
Mack is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Snake gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Snake creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Snake gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mack.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dave Mack. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mack wants a takedown but no success here.
Snake misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mack.
Snake tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Mack avoids it.
Snake lands with a right to the head.
Snake gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mack.
Mack lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Snake lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Mack is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Snake lands a shot to the body.
Snake is pushing Mack up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snake lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Mack goes for a takedown attempt but Snake pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Mack pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mack has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Snake.
Mack misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Snake.
Snake throws a combination. Mack tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Mack is breathing heavily.
Mack is looking to clinch.
Mack misses with a hook.
Mack takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Snake displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Snake scores with a one two! Mack had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Nice body kick there by Snake.
Nice body kick from Snake.
A nice inside leg kick there by Snake. That's going to slow Mack down.
Mack takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Mack avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Snake shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Snake wants to control from the top but Mack keeps moving.
Snake stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mack swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Snake is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Snake thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Snake trying to control the position from guard on top but Mack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mack seems keen to control Snake's posture.
Snake won't allow Mack to sweep him here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mack missing with a left hand there. Snake was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mack throws a left and a right that both miss
and Snake counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Snake throws a right hand that Mack ducks under and follows up with a left that Mack also avoids with ease.

Mack feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mack is fighting to break Snake's control of his arms but Snake is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Snake wants to stand and escape but Mack is having none of it.
Mack trying to control but Snake is working from the bottom.
Mack missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Snake is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mack has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Mack wants to pass the guard but Snake is keeping the position.
Mack throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Snake works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mack throwing strikes but missing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mack smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.


It looks like Solid Snake has been cut.
Mack ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Solid Snake dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Solid Snake's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Snake throws a jab when Mack was well out of range.
Mack uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Mack drops Snake with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Snake! Mack dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Dave Mack!
