The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackheart throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Blackheart ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kwadwo moves away.
Blackheart throws a head kick that misses.
A punch combination from Blackheart misses.
Blackheart scores with a one two! Kwadwo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
No joy there for Blackheart, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kwadwo slips under a jab.
Blackheart lands a jab to Kwadwo's midsection.

Kwadwo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kwadwo lands in his opponent's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kwadwo's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kwadwo passes Blackheart's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kwadwo wants to pass to mount but Blackheart is defending the position.
Blackheart tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Kwadwo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Blackheart doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kwadwo.
Blackheart wants to get back to full guard but Kwadwo has mounted him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blackheart is looking to get to half guard.
