Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maia is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Get Knocked Down. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Diaz misses its intended target.
Maia misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Maia fails with a takedown attempt.
Diaz throws a hook to the side of Maia's head but Maia sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Diaz fails to land with a series of punches.
Maia scores with a jab to the head.
Maia looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Diaz is fending him off so far but Maia persists. Nope, Diaz circles away and we're back to standing.
Fernando Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Maia.
Diaz jabs Maia right on the nose. Maia blinks but takes it well.
Diaz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Maia at a distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Diaz is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Maia flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Maia is out cold! Diaz holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
