Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaycer Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Tell Me Nothing. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ricardo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Silva drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ricardo dives on top into guard.

Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ricardo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ricardo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Silva has his foot on Ricardo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ricardo works his way back into a safe position though.

Ricardo drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Ricardo off! Ricardo jumps back into Silva's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ricardo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ricardo misses with a wild combination.
Ricardo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Silva.
A head kick misses from Silva.
Ricardo throws a good cross that connects.
Ricardo missing with a left hand there. Silva was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Silva is looking to work his way around to Ricardo's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ricardo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Silva has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ricardo's face.
