Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brett Benett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson has chosen Gojira - Backbone as his entrance music. Brett Benett had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Good leg kick by Wilson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Benett drops his hands momentarily and Wilson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That was a close round but I would say that Brett Benett will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brett Benett.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Benett, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
