PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Baeumer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baeumer comes to the cage accompanied by Die Prinzen - Deutschland. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Paul Baeumer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Knox!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baeumer defending well as Knox loads up on a big left hand.
Good leg kick by Knox there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Baeumer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Knox throws a nice looking combination but Baeumer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Knox ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Baeumer slips under a jab.
Baeumer fails to land with a series of punches.
Knox connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Baeumer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Knox throws the left hand but Baeumer avoids the punch easily.
Baeumer lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Ben Knox has been cut.
The fighters circling - Knox throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Knox displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Knox swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Baeumer counters with a stiff right hand.
Knox doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Knox looks gassed!
Knox has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Knox there as he acknowledges the shot.

Baeumer throws a left that rocks Knox and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Baeumer dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Knox regain composure!

Knox is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Baeumer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Knox is still on wobbly legs! Can Baeumer finish him?
Knox ducks into an uppercut from Baeumer and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
