Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaakko Parantainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parantainen comes to the cage accompanied by Jaakko kertoo asiaa.. Penn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ain't no rest for the wicked. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Parantainen's guard.
Parantainen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Penn is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Penn thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Penn manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Parantainen manages to get himself to full guard.

Penn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Penn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Penn shoots for a double leg takedown but Parantainen sprawls well. He's pushed Penn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
