The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bricis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Karlsson circles away quickly and effectively.

Bricis throws a jab when Karlsson was well out of range.

Karlsson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bricis did well to prevent Karlsson getting side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Karlsson in particular looking to stall.
Karlsson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
