The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steyn moves into range and clinches up with Jonny.
Jonny breaks the clinch.
Steyn on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jonny throws a nice looking combination but Steyn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jonny lands a right hook to the body.
Steyn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jonny swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jonny fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jonny throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steyn.
Nice takedown defense from Jonny. No joy for Steyn on that attempt.
Steyn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jonny pivots, looking for a leg kick but Steyn is out of range and Jonny settles back down.
Jonny connects with a body shot.
Jonny throws a nice looking combination but Steyn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Jonny scores with a one two! Steyn had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Gustav Steyn has been cut.
Jonny moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jonny connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nice sprawl there from Jonny as Steyn shoots in.
Steyn could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jonny leaves Steyn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gustav Steyn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Steyn cracks Jonny with a right hand to the side of the head.

Steyn is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jonny.
Jonny tries to bum rush Steyn with a series of wild strikes but Steyn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jonny is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Steyn loses concentration momentarily and Jonny pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Steyn crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Jonny finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
