Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Randal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Potts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Randal could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Potts will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Randal tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Potts paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Randal walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Randal has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
