Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rogers but Rogers pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rogers misses with a two punch combination.
Rogers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rogers wants it to stay on the feet.
Rogers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Johnson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rogers.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick misses from Johnson.
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rogers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Rogers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rogers stuffs the takedown attempt from Johnson. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonas Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rogers did well to prevent Johnson getting side control.
Johnson stops Rogers from getting back to his feet.

Well, if Johnson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Rogers tries to kick Johnson off but Johnson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Johnson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rogers does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Johnson is controlling the pace.
Rogers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Johnson seems to be looking for submissions.

It looks like Jonas Johnson has been cut.
Johnson leaves his chin hanging out and Rogers seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Johnson crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
