Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Dwyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Landau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Matt Landau enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Dwyer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Landau throws a left and a right that both miss

and Dwyer counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Dwyer landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Landau looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dwyer is tying to control. Landau wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dwyer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
