Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Patrick McBride!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, James Crumpton!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crumpton lands a body shot.
Crumpton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McBride as he jumps to the side.
McBride takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Some wild striking there from McBride.

McBride shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McBride showed some decent athleticism there.
McBride not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
McBride sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Crumpton defending well though.
McBride wants to take a breather but Crumpton is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crumpton wants to get back to full guard.
Crumpton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McBride working Crumpton over with strikes.
Crumpton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McBride. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Crumpton manages to get to full guard.
McBride pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Crumpton is keeping the position for now.
Crumpton controls McBride momentarily but McBride frees himself.
Crumpton wants to stand but McBride is controlling the position.
McBride pushes down on Crumpton's leg and manages to get into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Crumpton looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Crumpton is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McBride scores with a couple of nice shots.
McBride thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Crumpton tries to get to full guard but McBride has control of the leg.
McBride moves into full mount! Crumpton won't be happy about that!
McBride putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!


It looks like James Crumpton has been cut.
McBride looking to finish Crumpton with some ground and pound. This is bad for Crumpton!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McBride cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
McBride landing punches.


James Crumpton's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at James Crumpton's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Patrick McBride!
