Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Swagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Holden Kerouac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerouac is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hate Me Now. Holden Kerouac is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Kerouac changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Swagger looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Swagger tries to close the distance and clinch but Kerouac swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Swagger lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kerouac backs up against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Scott Swagger will probably get the nod.

Kerouac shoots in looking for a takedown. Swagger tries to sprawl out of it but Kerouac keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Swagger manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Swagger has hold of Kerouac's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kerouac tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Swagger cranks the arm and Kerouac screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kerouac, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
