Silva has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Marlon Olveira is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Wilson Silva has been cut.
Silva looks gassed!
Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Olveira is defended easily by Silva.

Olveira drops Silva with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Silva looks back up at him and smiles so Olveira waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Olveira tries to clinch but Silva moves out of range.
Olveira shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Olveira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Olveira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Olveira jabs Silva right on the nose. Silva blinks but takes it well.

Silva seems to have recovered his senses.

Olveira comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Marlon Olveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Olveira shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Olveira wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.

Olveira throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Olveira off to one side.

Olveira jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Silva manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Olveira is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Silva looks calm but he's in trouble here. Olveira gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Silva is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Olveira lets go of the hold and Silva can pop his arm back in it's socket.
