Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cody Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Barkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rogers comes to the cage accompanied by Get up. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barkley looks for a takedown but Rogers sprawls well.
Barkley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rogers tries to avoid it but Barkley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rogers to the ground. Rogers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rogers slaps away a takedown attempt from Barkley, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Cody Rogers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Barkley.
Barkley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rogers as he jumps to the side.
Rogers uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Charles Barkley has been cut.
Barkley shoots in looking for a takedown. Rogers tries to sprawl out of it but Barkley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rogers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Barkley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Barkley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rogers was covering up waiting for the punch and Barkley finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Barkley is looking to work some ground and pound but Rogers has wrist control.

Barkley drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rogers manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Barkley has Rogers in his guard.

Rogers thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Barkley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Barkley is looking for a triangle but Rogers pushes his legs off easily.

Rogers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barkley on the ground.

Barkley is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barkley looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Rogers has picked Barkley up and slammed him! Barkley can't keep hold of the triangle and Rogers manages to pass to side control!

Rogers stands up and beckons Barkley to his feet.

Barkley fails to land the takedown.
Rogers scores with a hook to the body. Barkley takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Barkley tries to move into range but Rogers moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barkley takes one on the button.

Rogers takes the fight into the clinch.
Rogers is trying to break the clinch but Barkley has him pressed against the cage.
Rogers gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Barkley.
Rogers lands a left hand.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Rogers.
Rogers is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Barkley is defending well for now.
Barkley is working for takedown but Rogers is calmly controlling the position for now.

Barkley is rocked!
Rogers throws a big uppercut that drops Barkley! More strikes from Rogers and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Barkley lies dazed against the cage as Rogers celebrates with his cornermen!
